At EightShapes Dimple focuses on user research and information architecture with an emphasis on integrating user research results into the design process. Recent clients include Cisco, Department of Energy, and George Washington University.
Prior to joining EightShapes, Dimple worked as a User Experience Designer for clients including VeriSign, KBHome and FAA. Her portfolio includes leading efforts in implementing large-scale customized association membership management solutions, design solutions for public-facing web sites, intranets and extranets.
Dimple began her career as a 3D animator and transitioned to the web focusing on information architecture and user-centered design.
Dimple’s communication skills and experience working with a wide variety of personalities enables her to tackle complex challenges with a focused yet light-hearted demeanor. Often asked about her unusual name, she clarifies, “Dimple is a common name in India and has no connotation to Indian mythology. The name is as Bollywood as you can get. Just glad I have the dimples to show.”
