Who We Are
EightShapes was founded in 2006 by Nathan Curtis and Dan Brown, two information architects with a passion for beautiful design, user-centered methods, and effective communications between designers. Since its inception, EightShapes has supported projects of various sizes, from large scale engagements to shorter design sprints as well as training and workshops publicly and for in-house teams.
Three themes pervade every design engagement:
- Collaborate: In our projects we bring users and designers together, and we maintain transparent communications with business stakeholders and developers.
- Educate: Working with EightShapes means working with designers who love to teach. Our collaboration with your design team means they sit alongside our design team.
- Efficiency: We are constantly looking for ways to make the design process more efficient while preserving meaningful, transparent, and actionable communications.
